These 2 are very unprofessional in the way they run their business. You would be better off paying a little more and going through a reputable business.
If we were basing my review on the property itself, we would give 4 stars. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Daytona area. However, we would not recommend booking through this specific company. The company is a husband and wife, Dennis and Carmen, and the two of them do not seem to be on the same page regarding rentals. We were originally booked in a single unit and my in-laws were booked in a separate single unit. We booked specifically booked single units as opposed to a 2 bedroom unit which would have been less expensive. We both wanted our own privacy on the trip. We were contacted prior to our trip and informed that the units we booked were no longer available because Dennis and Carmen felt that the owners of the units we booked were "being difficult and they were no longer working with them." Their solution was to put us in a 2 bedroom unit. This was very frustrating to us as we did not want to share a rental between the 2 families. After explaining this to Dennis, he offered us unit 1301. We called back to confirm the reservation and Carmen said that this was not a possibility. She repeatedly told me that Dennis would not have offered that as an option. After going back and forth with her, she finally agreed to call her husband to check. We were able to hear her end of the conversation the entire time which clearly indicated that Dennis did in fact offer that unit. Carmen got back on the phone with us and admitted that he did say that, but they were no longer going to offer that unit. We were frustrated and upset at this point to say the least. To their credit, Dennis did contact us via email the following day to inform us that after talking it over, they were going to honor the initial offer.

Additionally, we have an email that specifically states where the deposit would be refunded, but this too was not honored. The deposit ended up being split between 2 cards. When we contacted Dennis regarding this, he agreed that this was his mistake but that there was nothing he could do about.
