In my opinion, Dr. Paula Foust ranks as one of the top OB/GYN specialists in the area. She is both knowledgeable and personable. I am fortunate to call her my doctor.
I called to get a same day new patient appointment. There was a cancellation from the day before, so, I got an appointment.
The doctor isn't the issue, she's wonderful and informative. The staff at the front desk, the fact that I never get an answer when I can and when I do the receptionist is very rude: interupting and such; I had a biopsy done almost 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a call with the results even though I was told I'd be called within 5-7 days.
Tracie the medical tech is knowledgeable & friendly. I liked Dr. Foust, she explained the procedure & was very good & kind. I definitely would go back & recommend her.
The office was clean, comfortable, inviting.
If zero or negative stars were possible, those would be more fitting choices. I haven't seen her in years because I was traumatized by her at our last visit. She insisted on doing a biopsy in the office, promised it wouldn't hurt too bad , no anesthesia. I won't explain the details but I was whimpering on the table and felt like a wounded animal. Got in my car to drive home and was shaking uncontrollably. Only to wait at least two weeks to get a voicemail saying basically, "yeah, you were right" about what was happening with my body which was menopause. I never went back. Compassionless

I have no problem with the doctor, but the office is very hard to reach. If you leave a message, they don't get back to you in a timely manner. I have had previous experience with very poor front desk staff there; that has improved, but it appears that they are still too busy to answer your calls. Leaving messages does not work at a doctor's office. You hope you are not seriously ill. Hire more staff, or change your incoming call procedures.
