Very comfortable and quite family campground, the staff will try to make your stay the best that It can be. They have a commercial grade playground for the kids and a fifty foot swimming pool where you can take a dip and lounge under two large cabanas, a camper kitchen with free use of the grill to cook your food and then after relax by the community fire pit or request your own fire pit and have a personal fire at your campsite. if out door or RV camping is not your thing they also have home away from home cabins. This is a cool place to bring the family and hang out for a few days or maybe longer
Very nice looking campground with plenty of events and services to enjoy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Their recent rebranding came with some decorative new gardening and plenty of fresh paint.
Enjoyed every moment. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. We will be returning!
We are tent camping here for the first time. We pulled in after a night and morning of heavy rain and there was NO problem finding a place to set up our tent that wasnt in the middle of a swamp. The puddles that were here drained once the rain stopped. The campsite is large- we have a 10x17 tent, an awning and picnic table, a classic car and our "supply vehicle" on the site with plenty of room to spare. Power is not an issue. The staff are great. When you check in, they escort you to your campsite to make there is no confusion and they point out campsite lines. They were setting up for a turkey pot luck when we checked in, but they still made room for me to do a little studying in the community center (b/c it was so wet outside it wasnt an option to put the computer up). Wifi is good, which helps because I need to do some studying for a test on monday. Facilities are great too. It looks like there is a dog park on the campgrounds too for those who have critters- and there are a lot of furkids walking around happily with their owners, but you wouldnt know it. Even saw someone had their cat in their camper- happily soaking up sun on the dash board. I would definitely come back. The only minus...we didnt have a fire pit bc they ran out, so some of our cooking plans got a little sideways...but it wasnt a major issue b/c we have a campstove. Even saw some bald eagles. all in all, if you want a well kept camping spot, this is a great option.
Been coming here for 2 years. They were previously KOA. Their policies have changed a little and some of the staff has issues with being accommodating and nice like they always were in the past. But overall most of the staff is great. Camping is nice and I love the one room cabins.
